Contour Cut Vinyl Lets Your Walls, Windows and Doors Do the Talking

The word is out. The walls are talking and with contour cut vinyl decals they have some important things to say. It’s not just the walls either, because vinyl can be applied to most any smooth surface. They are a smart way to display an important message and are very versatile, providing countless ways to advertise. Whether you want to alert customers of special deals, list your hours of operation, or just feature the products and services your business provides – using your storefront window, front door or the blank wall in your lobby can be an inexpensive solution. Using vinyl decals is the perfect way to draw attention to your business, keep people informed and hopefully bring in new customers.

Decal Lettering & Lamination

Large or small, letters, words, phrases or images – your vinyl decals are easily customized and can be repositioned or updated as needed, making them great for holiday promotions and recurring sales. Vinyl lettering comes complete and ready to apply with self-adhesive lettering. It comes pre-spaced in words or phrases as needed. Simply peel off the paper backing and the vinyl lettering will stick to the (Pre Applied) masking. Apply in one application. Once positioned correctly just smooth on firmly then remove the masking, leaving the vinyl lettering. It’s a perfect choice for use on virtually any smooth surface. In addition, they are very durable and will last for a long time. Our recommendation would be to produce your decals with a laminate coating to make them last even longer. In fact, the biggest variable for vinyl longevity is the sun and coating them with laminate can help combat the cracking that the sun can cause after approximately 3 years. When displayed in a weather controlled, non sun exposed area laminated vinyl can last indefinitely.

Decal Effectiveness

The effectiveness of custom vinyl decals, like most marketing materials comes from their design. However, their versatility makes them a bit more functional as well. For example, while it might be a great idea to display your company logo and colors in large format across your front window, it might be just as important to provide information within your office that is not necessarily promotional by nature. By labeling entrances and exits, restrooms, adding witty company anecdotes and generally fun displays throughout your interior walls you can create an attractive, visually appealing workplace that could help enhance your employee’s productivity and produce positive vibes throughout. You can make vinyl decals to your specification. They can be back adhesive or face adhesive. They can be printed on any color vinyl you want and with any font style you choose. The ideas are endless and you can use your logo and print it in a decal, or create any custom die-cut vinyl graphic that interests you.

Designing Your Decals

When designing your decals, we suggest that you keep things simple to maximize visibility. This is essential when you view the graphics from a distance. Intricately designed artwork with detailed images might lose some of their impact. Also keep in mind that negative space can be important as well. For example, thinking outside the norm and using the negative space for transparency on a window can be a positive thing. Color is another thing to consider. Remember, simplicity is best so it’s a good idea to limit the number of colors used to just 2 or 3 instead of multiple shades of the same general color schemes.
